But crossing my fingers, your new friend and story teller! I’m so thrilled that you stumbled upon my work! My hope is that you see this as a space where you CAN feel comfortable & safe entrusting me to tell your story. Photography is not merely a profession for me, but rather a means of experiencing life to the fullest. Preserving memories and emotions through the art of PHOTOGRAPHY is what I cherish the most. Life is a journey that we ALL navigate, filled with ups and downs, moments of joy and despair. And yet, so often, we hesitate to capture those experiences. We hold back, understandably afraid of vulnerability and possible judgment. I’m here to be a friend and vessel in your journey, regardless of how that may manifest for you
Initially, I began my photography journey as a lil one in elementary school by capturing landscapes, seasonal changes, wildlife and really anything in sight that made me feel. However, over time i realized that my interest lay in capturing the human experience and the intricate differences that set our stories apart. In 2022, I made the decision to transition to full-time photography and leave a job that left me feeling unfulfilled. In 2023 i transitioned to professional wedding photography, as I recognized that love and the raw, unfiltered story behind it was what my soul wanted and longed to capture more of. All love stories deserve to be told and frozen in time to look back at later on.
Before making my way to the wedding & Couples world, I worked as a school photographer! That experience really solidified my love and passion for kids and the stories they have. Even though I found myself loving every age and grade in someway, I really fell in love with the littles (preschool & kinders). How much they have to learn and how much we get to teach them. I usually take the opportunity to share my love of photos and make the photography part of it fun instead of terrifying like it can be for Most kids. My philosophy is, if I can make it a better experience for them now, they may be more inclined and comfortable to capture memories later on!
I don’t know about you, but I HATE getting my picture taken… now you are probably thinking, “Whaaaaa, a photographer that doesn’t like being in front of a camera?? How??” Well i am here to tell you, not all of us enjoy being on both sides of the camera! Crazy right?!
Speaking For myself, I’m not a fan of being in front of the camera for a couple reasons. 1. I dont like how I look in most pictures and 2. I always feel awkward and like I don’t know how to sit or smile normal all of a sudden. So that’s why I am super passionate about making you feel comfortable during a session or wedding day! I will be there every step of the way not only to photograph but to be a friend. We can go over worries, possible insecurities, and different natural poses. What ever you need to be comfortable!
When I am not binge watching a true crime doc, you can find me in nature somewhere here in the beautiful pnw, enjoying Nutella sandwiches, dancing in the living room with my partner, or listening to Ben Platt. I’m currently kickin it in Vancouver, WAshington with my partner, Sarah, our two dogGOs Mack & Scooby-RoO and our fierce kitty, Winnie.

MY WHY…
I remember going to camp for the first time as a kid and begging for a disposable camera to take with. I didn’t want to forget anyone or any moment from that summer. For as long as I can remember I’ve been fond of photos. Looking at picture albums when I was little and listening to my cha cha (nickname for our grandma) tell the stories behind them like it was yesterday, has always been a favorite memory of mine. Seeing the tears and emotion each photo brought her.
That’s my why.
Memories and the special moments within them deserve to be photographed and saved. If not for those in the pictures, but also families and friends.
As we grow and go through life, we can forget. Even important times in our lives can start to slip through the cracks. It happens and isn’t of any fault of our own, it’s just the process of time. My vow as your photographer is to capture it all in a way that takes you right back to that moment in time, feeling those exact emotions.
Life gets extremely crazy and at times chaotic, we can’t seriously expect our brains to remember every detail.
Photos don’t forget.
My Cha Cha, who was also my best friend, passed away years ago. I cling to all of the memories we have through the photos I have left, like the one here.
Thats what I hope to give to other people.
Little KJ was definitely on to something with that disposable all those years ago.

In a session with me, you can expect a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We'll chat, laugh, and get to know each other while I snap away. I’m a HUGE fan of unposed, candid shots that capture the essence of who you are. Weddings and lovers are my bread and butter. On your wedding day, im like a fly on the wall. Hanging in the background capturing the story and all it entails. intimate and small moments that some dont see as important, i do. I'll work to ensure that you're thrilled with the results AND LEAVE WITH PHOTOS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL…
